The answers would be few days or a month ago that's how we are getting addicted with them and now become an unsperatable part of our life smartphone have become like an virus .If we get once get infected if hard to find any antivirus for it .

Not only mentally but smartphone are making us empty our pockets every year.We buy a smartphone but within few days a new model comes and older versions get eliminated and we spend hundreds of dollars for it even knowing that after a few days the price of that smartphone will not be even the half but then too we buy it without thinking for a sec
And not even that there are thousands of brands available making us confusion which one to buy and thus we buy many devices like a smartphone for calling,a tablet for watching videos,an music player for listening songs ,and many more like camera,phablets so what's the result of this is heavy on our pockets which lead to tension
And its not only limited to that but also we pay extra charges for services like data ,calling,photos, songs and the list goes on
Forgetting Cultural
Many of us spend hours of time on messaging and typing and thus me cannot even talk to a person sitting in front of us and we even chat withperson or Friend who is standing right in front of us and this has all happened because of an single device which we call "smartphone"

People aren't get physically social but socially perfect in a virtual society

People spend a lot of time on using smartphone but how many of us take out time and watched what's all going around us and this can be senn in children and all those people under 18 It is seen that every 6 child has a smartphone out of 10 .so how these children will get knowledge of world is that smartphone going to give them no not at all
