Samsung S8 and S8+ introduced the Snapdragon 835 processor based on 1-st Generation 10nm process but report claims that apparently Samsung and Qaulcomm have started working on the Snapdragon 845 processor which will feature in next year's Samsung S9.And as similar to Snapdragon 835 these chips will be also produced by Samsung
What to expect:-
- Snapdragon 845 will be based on the same 10nm process but will be a second gen chip in 10nm process which leads to increase in peformance and decrease in power consumption.
- So the next thing that could be introduced could be related to AR and VR capabilities
- New GPU based on Vulkan may be introduced to pump out high graphics.
